Oh this is such a lovely giveaway! I want to thank YOU for sharing your wonderful ideas! I think I've 'taken' more of your fun, creative ideas than anyone else's! I'm in the middle of making Christmas ornaments for my girls because I love the idea of giving them one each year. The current ones are embroidered/fabric/patchwork balls. A bit tricky to describe but I haven't got a website to show you! I've also been having lots of fun buying books off Book Depository for the girls and my hubby :)
ReplyDeleteI follow your facebook page
ReplyDelete...and I'm a follower of your blog
ReplyDelete...and just one more! I'm sharing the giveaway on my facebook page :)

ReplyDeleteOooh - lovely.
ReplyDeleteThis Xmas I have made my wee nephews a car caddy (3 year old), a roll-up busy book (inspired by you) (1 year old) and designed my own wrapping paper for them and two other nephews. I'm also giving Mr 4 a car caddy, will probably make Miss 2 some sort of clothes, na dintend to make Reindeer Noses for the kid's kindy teachers and friends. If there's time, I want to make some gingerbread syrup for my friends :) Thanks so much for your inspiration over the year - and yes, I am still on the lookout for a dollshouse so I can attempt my own "mousehouse"-style makeover :)
What a beautiful giveaway - that russian doll fabric is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI haven't made much this Christmas (I'm preggers and move house in 3 days time!) but did sew some quick lavender hanging bags for my grandma and a few felt scandinavian influenced embroidered tree decorations. Next year I'll be making a busy book for my new little one!
Thank you!x
Oh and I follow you blog and have liked you on facebook!
ReplyDeleteMegan it astounds me that you are only 2 years into blogging but you have such a great blog and such a beautiful feel to your blog. I love this giveaway and I'd be THRILLED to win. In terms of Christmas gifts one of the things I am going to do this year is make my boys and my hubby all a set of matching board shorts for our summer holiday and maybe some pjs too.
ReplyDeleteI also follow your blog and I meant to say how much fun we've been having with the you tube stories you posted about. Harold and the purple crayon is a new one to me - my big boy LOVES it. Also I give my children a Christmas book on the 1sr of Dec each year so we can read Christmas books all through Dec and get into the Spirit of it.
ReplyDeleteYour blog has insPired me to take up sewing and to create!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to start December! Beautiful gifts you have chosen for the lucky winner. Where do you buy your bakers twine from? I'd love to get my hands on some.
ReplyDeleteI found a great idea last night to make a quilted wine bottle holder. Basicially it's like a cardboard one, but made from fabric. So useful and saves the bottle from rolling around the car.
I've been a follower for ages now as well. I love your wonderful ideas.
ReplyDeleteHi Megan. I'm making the girls bed time bags for their PJ's with a pocket on the front for their story books to go. Theres a little suprise givaway at my blod too if you'd like to enter! xx
ReplyDeleteWell I had great plans of making lots of pressies this year, but I have a bad case of lost crafting mojo at the moment! I have managed to make some cute felt decorations, some hairbands and clips and a decorated frame with felt flowers so far......and have a few half finished/ barely started projects waiting for me.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog....has inspired me to be more crafty(just not at the moment!)
I will be making a lunch bag for my husband, out of corduroy fabric. I still haven't worked out all the details though. I may try to make him some simple jersey shorts too, if I can gather the courage. The last pair I made were awful!
ReplyDeleteI am a follower and enjoy reading your blog.
ReplyDeleteI also like you on Facebook (different e-mail adress)
ReplyDeleteYour blog is great, thanks for all the inspiration! And for this fabulous giveaway :)

ReplyDeleteI am making everything this year! I am in the middle of making my boys a tee pee each and i have made my mum a necklace and earrings out of metal zip's, I am also making fudge and truffles along with glasses and bath salts and bombs ohhh so much to make! ReplyDeleteI love looking in on you via your blog and facebook - always so fresh and bright! I'm actually really stuck for Christmas presents for guys this year. My preference is handmade, but when it comes to the guys that can be hard. I'm making house shoes (Bend the Rules Sewing) and peg aprons (my tutorial) for the girls, and I'm trying to scrap together a brag book of photos for my daughter's Scottish grandparents who are coming to spend Christmas with us. Oh - and I have my eye on this tutorial for a soft dolls house for Lala http://web03.pandurohobby.se/pan/IboxServlet?p=IXS530R&IDN=10614
ReplyDeleteeveryone loves a giveaway!

ReplyDeleteI really like your blog and I follow and facebook you, but i've been a spectacularly bad commenter this year one way or another, so please don't give me this prize. I just want to take the opportunity to say thanks for blogging. You really do make a contribution to the bloggy community. Hopefully next year is going to be a whole lot better for those of us in the shaky city and I'll be a bit more active in commenting and participating!!!
ReplyDeleteLast year and the year before I made all my presents, but this year I'm trying to buy presents that other people have made. So I'm giving prints by nice people!!
I hope you have a merry Christmas.
This year I have bought 2 very cool gifts for my girls. Miss 3 is getting a wooden baking set to add to her toy kitchen. Miss (almost) 2 is getting a wooden doll house. For me, it really is more about picking a few gifts I know they will love rather than a ton of stuff just because it is christmas.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely giveaway! Merry christmas x
also, already a follower of your blog :)
ReplyDeleteI'm making my baby boy a stocking. For my daughter, probably some things for her hair!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower, thanks for the lovely giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous giveaway - I love your collection of goodies. Thank you Megan.
ReplyDeleteI plan on making some cushions for my brothers and sisters and nieces - they are so quick and easy to make (essentially just 2 squares of 0.5m fabric) and can brighten a room and offer comfort so make the perfect give to give to a loved one.
I also plan on buying some inexpensive t-shirts and singlet tops in green and red and sewing christmas themed motifs on them to give to my young nephew.
If I get organised, I might also make some simple yo-yo hair clips and broches for my daughter's kindy friends.
I was hoping to also make some ribbon wands for my daughter's ballet and music class friends but on reviewing my list of crafts I think I may be being a bit optimistic.
Can't wait to read others ideas.
Merry Christmas!
Lovely lovely lovely lovely lovely. Poppy Loves!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI have some of that babushka fabric and I love it so much I can't decide what to make with it- am too scared to cut it up!
This christmas I entered the ornament swap and got my ornaments out early, so thats a first for me!
You know I am a devoted follower- but I don't need to win anything either, just wanted to comment.
Yay! This year I am starting a new tradition. We are doing an activity each day for lent...something that we do together whether it's just reading a book or making cookies or re-enacting the story of Jesus's birth. I'm excited!

ReplyDeleteI wish I was more organised and had actually thought about presents yet but .....
ReplyDeleteI have done one though, bought on Etsy a book mark with wooden, wizard of oz, wicked witch feet sticking out of the bottom (that's a lot of "w's").
I'm hoping my mother in law thinks it's funny???
You can check them out here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/MyBookmark?ref=seller_info

Hi, another fantastic giveaway! This year I am making un-decorated gingerbread houses to give to my best friends' kids. I will include the house, lots of sweeties, some royal icing mix and a piping bag so they can decorate it themselves. This way they get a treat, something to do and enjoy looking at.
ReplyDeleteI am also making some lavender laundry spray for my closest friends. All my cards and gift tags are handmade, but I have to confess, every other gift is bought because this year we make the journey to NZ for Christmas. So much to do!
What a lovely giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm making table runners and my damson gin is coming along nicely!
Lovely giveaway Megan :-)
ReplyDeleteI have ordered calendars for close family this year and last year. I designed them online featuring photos of my baby boy. They are a popular present with the grandparents in particular! I also made reindeer noses for a little treat - you can see how I put them together on my blog :-)

ReplyDeleteLovely giveaway Megan. I am fully overloaded mentally with our big change in routine recently so have opted not to make anything. That is a rotten thing to say on a make/do/craft blog, but there it is. However, I found some really lovely citronella candles in red & white polkadot tin buckets at Living & Giving. They were half price and at $7.50 will make a perfect little gift for the kids teachers, and to pop in with family gifts too!
ReplyDeleteThank you Megan for such a lovely giveaway a year of inspiring blogs! Im hoping to finish making some bunting for friends children, and make some lovely little stars made from iceblock sticks and buttons with my own little one. Hopefully will blog about this during the week. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas.
