an apple a day giveaway

I've been wanting to do a giveaway for a while now to say thank you to all you lovely mousehouse readers, followers and 'likers' out there, especially as I've gathered quite a few more of you since posting about my dolls house last week!
I got the idea to do an apple themed giveaway after the lovely feedback from my apple cosy and my crochet apple.  Also, one of the first purses I made was using some apples fabric.  I mentioned my apple themed idea to Kirsty at Sew Pretty the other day when she shared my apple cosy post on SewPretty's facebook page and she very kindly offered to donate a fat quarter of two of her apple fabrics to each of the giveaways thank you Kirsty!

So Prize one is....

  • a mousehouse 'Red Apples' waterproof zip purse
  • a crochet apple
  • 6 apple buttons
  • a set of 10 apple, button and yarn stamped mousehouse gift tags
  • a bow brooch
  • a fat quarter of Sew Pretty's 'apples in red' fabric
And Prize two is....
  • a mousehouse 'Orchard Apples' waterproof zip purse
  • a crochet apple cosy
  • handmade peppermint lip balm
  • a set of 10 apple, button and yarn stamped mousehouse gift tags
  • two sheets of cute stickers
  • a fat quarter of Sew Pretty's 'apples in green' fabric
To enter all you have to do is leave a comment telling me whether you would like to win Prize one or Prize two. You could tell me where you're from too as I love seeing where everyone is from! If you don't have a blog you are still welcome to enter, just leave your email address in your comment. Or you can tell me which prize you would like under this post on my Facebook page.  International entries welcome!

Thank you so much again for all your lovely comments on my posts, for the awesome emails I get, for reading my blog and for being such a great community of like minded souls!
Megan x

Ooh! I love the 2nd prize! I come to your blog regularly for loads of inspiration! I've also just had a baby (nearly 7 week old boy!) and so have started crafting and (trying) to organise my home! But I end up spending so much time watching him sleeping! Oh yea, I'm from Hamilton!

I absolutely love the fabric the pouch in the first prize is made of- where is it from?

Megan said...

Hi Jessica, the apples fabric in the first prize is a fabric I bought for some cushions from a store here "Levene's" which was part of a Freedom Furniture store here in Tauranga. It's closed now unfortunately. I don't know the name of the fabric (so should have written it down!) but I wish I did as it is such a cool print and is a a nice heavy fabric too.

Hey Megan - loving the giveaway - you are super generous! No.1 is my fav too.

Just an FYI - the fabric that your reader Jessicah Win asked about... It's a James Dunlop fabric that was available back on 2007. They also did pears and they were very cool. Unfortunately they no longer produce and supply the fabric so it's now a collectors item!

Thanks for the gorgeous give away Megan and Kirsty! My daughter would love prize two, it would match her apple wheelie bag from Cherish Child gorgeously and she is really into lip balms so it would be super. I might even be inspired to create the next apple wheelie bag accessory from the FQ! Perhaps a baby wrap/sling for her to where when her mummy has her brother/sister in their wrap? We are from picturesque Papamoa, I love your blog and am inspired by your vision and passion for what you do. From very slack blogger Rochelle, who cant seem to reach her blog over her big belly xx
