I decided last night to give the cute rabbit project a go. I used a soft fleece for the front of the rabbit and fabric for the back. Mine ended up with much skinnier ears, arms and legs than the one in the mag!
I made the grey one for our baby on the way and the red one is heading off to Australia for Monkeemoomoo's Queensland Flood Appeal Dolly Drive.
I made a little bag for the red one using one of my favourite tutorials again. I remember taking about two evenings to make my first little satchel bag when I was just learning to sew and now I can make this little bag in about 20 minutes!
Peek a boo
Hello world!

Thank you for visiting - might see you tomorrow with my 'getting ready for baby' organised home challenge, it's a bit more successful than last week's!

How cute are those rabbits! Did you follow a pattern to make them? These would make great gifts for little ones.
I also think your home organised challenge is just a great idea! I like seeing the before and after photos. Very inspiring!
Becky:))
Oh so cute. Love those rabbits, in fact, anything with polka dots! Can't wait to see what your next organised home project will be - it's inspiring stuff. Can't wait to get started on a few projects like that here, especially as we are moving apartments soon. All the best with getting ready for baby. x

Cute!!! now Im off to buy the latest home and garden - hehe.
Oh super cute!! Love the red one so much. I saw them in my mag and was tempted to give them a go myself. Maybe I will now. Love the bag too, very lovely and generous of you.
Very cute and thanks for the link to the bag tutorial, they look great.
They are gorgeous Megan and I love the little matching bag for the Qld one. I love that magazine too. I got a subscription for Christmas... very exciting! We're advertising the market in there this year too.
These rabbits are cute, cute, cute.
That was my all time favourite magazine whilst living in NZ...took me so long to find a replacement here in Aussie
Cute rabbits and I love the bag too! I was just looking at that page earlier and I want to make the dot art always such good ideas aye.
Very cute!
I'm a sucker for a polka dot. The little rabbits in the matching bags are just brilliant. Love. x
They are adorable!
Both bunnies are adorable, and I love the bag, what a great idea :)
A very cute bunny and matching bag for a special little person! Isn't it amazing to see how far you have come since beginning to sew, you must be a bit of a whiz now to get that done in 20 minutes!
The rabbits are adorable!
The bag is a final touch of cuteness - I can just see a little one taking her wabby for walks. Well done. (I don't think the slightly skinnier appendages take away from the look of them either)
They are just lovely - love the bag you made to accompany your donation x
