my creative space-fabric

My creative space is overflowing with piles of gorgeous fabric- I have developed a serious fabric addiction in the last few months! I am about to begin a softie for my baby girl's first birthday present and I also need to get started on a present for a new baby boy Thomas- maybe an applique bodysuit, a taggie and a soft toy. I just need about another four hours in the day!

For some creative inspiration I got this book from the library yesterday so I will try and sit down for a little bit today and have a look through it.
I got this book as well as I would love to sell some crafty things one day soon...just need another couple or 10 hours a day for that too!
And I have to show this gorgeous bag I've just bought from 'Ikabags' on Etsy-isn't it just the cutest bag- I love the spotty fabric.  I have been looking for a nice big bag with a shoulder strap as they are so much easier to carry around with a baby and also for hanging over the buggy handle. I should be getting it in a few weeks as it's coming all the way from Paris- can't wait!

How fabulous is your spotty bag? Love it. I wish our library had a few more books like the ones you borrowed, I've noticed they don't have a great selection. Good luck with all your projects xo

Thanks Beck we do have a great library and an online reserve service which is great for when I see a book I would like on a blog or website. I have about 30 books out at the mo even my hubby thinks its getting a bit out of control!!

What gorgeous fabric! Sometimes the hardest part is choosing which one! (or ones)

The genius of design looks like an excellent book. I need to get my hands on a copy of that.

I can totally see you setting a craft business -you would be great at it!

Have you heard about F.A.S.H....

FASH Is back March 27 9.30am - 2.30pm at Shop G10 Bethlehem Town Centre. The famous community event where lovers of fabric, embroidery & sewing notions can bargain, barter & buy.

I saw an article about it today in the Bay News. Don't know if it's any good but maybe you could add to your fabric stash!

Great pick up on that bag, it will be making heads turn for sure! And you got it right with the terrific fabric pile you got there. It would be fun to see what you can make with each piece.

Hey Megan, have you been to Howard Storage World? It makes me want to move to Tauranga! I wish they had the shop down in Wellington.
